Booking Modifications

Date Changes

Reschedule your tour to different dates subject to availability. Changes made 15+ days before departure may incur minimal fees.

Traveler Changes

Substitute travelers on the booking with valid ID proof. Name changes must be requested at least 7 days before departure.

Destination Changes

Switch to a different tour package based on availability. Price differences will be adjusted accordingly.

Upgrade/Downgrade

Change your package tier (budget to deluxe or vice versa). Applicable price differences will be charged or refunded.

Force Majeure & Special Circumstances

How we handle situations beyond our control

In cases of natural disasters (landslides, floods, earthquakes), extreme weather, government restrictions, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances that make the tour impossible or unsafe:

  • Alternative arrangements will be made wherever possible at no extra cost
  • Tour rescheduling options will be provided for future dates
  • Partial credits may be issued based on non-recoverable expenses
  • No compensation is payable for consequential losses or damages

Travel Insurance Recommended: We strongly advise purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances for complete peace of mind.

How do I request a cancellation?
Submit your cancellation request in writing via email to booking@travelmybharat.com or through WhatsApp at +91-925-920-5032. Include your booking ID, registered name, and reason for cancellation. The cancellation date is considered as the date we receive your written request.
Can I modify my booking instead of cancelling?
Yes! We encourage modifications over cancellations. Date changes, destination changes, or traveler substitutions may be possible depending on availability. Modification requests made 15+ days before departure typically incur minimal or no charges. Contact us early for the best options.
What happens if Travel My Bharat cancels my tour?
If we cancel your tour due to operational reasons, you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made, or you can choose to reschedule to alternative dates at no extra cost. For cancellations due to force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions), we will work with you on rescheduling or partial credits.
Are GST and service charges refundable?
GST and government taxes paid are non-refundable as per regulatory requirements. Service charges may be partially refunded based on the cancellation timeline. The refund percentages mentioned apply to the base tour cost excluding taxes.
What if I need to leave the tour midway?
If you discontinue the tour after it has started, no refund will be provided for unused services. This includes hotel nights, meals, transport, and activities not utilized. We recommend travel insurance to cover such unforeseen circumstances.
How will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during booking. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated, along with a reference number to track the transaction with your bank.
